Hello ! My name is Magda and I am the owner and operator of Critter Sitter LLC.
I was born and raised in the quaint Northwest Corner of Connecticut where I had always had an interest in working with and helping animals. I attended a particular high schools whose curriculum included Veterinary Technology and so I gained my start. The program included a requirement of 1000 working hours in an agriculture related field and I found myself working for a breeder, handler and trainer of German Shepherds, and thier accompanied boarding and training facility.

I moved to New Haven to pursue a degree in Nursing. However as life took its course, I changed majors to Biology and Veterinary Medicine showed itself again and I began working as a Technicians Assistant at Central Hospital.
​
Through my many years at Central, I noticed there was a need for a Pet Care business that included a staff comfortable with pets with medical ailments, administer medications and how to recognize signs of emergent situations. Here Critter Sitter was born.
I had continued to be part of the veterinary community in New Haven County for another decade or so, working at various emergency hospitals and day practices as a receptionist and veterinary technician.

However, as for many, 2020 lead to a re-evlaution of ones goals, and what had always been a "side hustle" gained an LLC and full time operational hours.
​
I am extremely proud of what has transpired since; the community and clientele we have built, along with a professional, fun, safe atmosphere.
​
Outside of my passion for pet care, I greatly enjoy gardening and find solace in any nature setting.
I'm a sucker for anything new and other and will never turn down a road trip!
